Join actors from the Star Trek universe as they recreate the classic radio thriller. Originally performed by Orson Welles and his Mercury Theatre of the Air, War of the Worlds caused a nationwide panic in 1938, as unwitting listeners believed that hostile Martians had really landed in New Jersey.

The Museum of Natural Science located downtown. This museum is a modern multi-story facility with different displays on each floor. The top displays of here for most are the dinosaurs and the butterfly house. The China animatronic dinosaur allows you to see not just the great lizards but also the remains of giant mammals such as the 19 foot tall sloth. The butterfly house (which is closed on Mondays) is on the fourth floor and has it’s own sloth. That right, they have a real live, and very shy sloth with his or her very own tree. A Leisurely tour through this museum can easily take three to four hours, particularly if there have live animal (or bug) exhibits and if you spend time in the childrens center. They do have a small cafeteria on the top floor. This is an extremely fun museum.

We were young and the light shows were a great place to get slightly askew and listen to the rock music that accompanied the lasers. I remember one time when a whole group of us from the restaurant went. Two Beers Bushery was what we called this girl, who after drinking two beers would do almost anything you asked her to do. Anyway she had drunk some wine on this particular evening and it must not have set with her too well, as midway through the show she emptied her stomach contents out all over my shoes. It was the last laser concert that I went to at the Planetarium.
