How To Find Inspiration For Writing

It’s been a busy post processing week, going from out of the camera photo to creating art. The problem I had was in the naming. Every piece I create I give a name and sometimes that name is hard to come by. In a name, there are times when it’s obvious and then there are times when I have to wait for the name to tell me it’s true nature. So I’ve been waiting around for name inspiration.

I just tend to prefer a pound of perspiration and the increased probability of success. And of course, I write how to books and related non-fiction. So my worship of the muse is slightly skewed. But still, Follow me is necessary.

Inspiration does not need to be such an elusive thing. There are ways to draw out inspiration and keep it alive. And you may find that not only does this inspiration last in you, but it can help inspire others too. Read on for 5 steps to creating inspiration.

Start paying attention to what catches your eye and take note. Where or what inspires you? Some common sources include pictures, childhood memories, favorite movies, books or pieces of music, friends, family, and pets, travel destinations you may or may not have been to, works of art, nature, seasons, holidays, celebrities and more. Did you find anything that you like, that stimulates your mind to creative thought or the making of art? Congratulations! You found inspiration!

For example, when you see an open fire, you want to stay away from it so that you don’t burn yourself. If you’re in the open, you’ll stand further away from the fire. If you’re in a closed area, you might use a cover or a shield to avoid potentially getting hurt from the fire. Sometimes, you’ll do both. In essence, you want to protect yourself from the fire. In the process of standing further away, using a shield or any protection mechanisms that you’ve used is pretty much driven by your AF motivation.

You see, it’s that dream, your dream, that fuels your motivation, that gives you the strength to carry on no matter what life throws at you. There are things you want, things you need to create your desired lifestyle, and all of them are just out of reach – right now. But that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to get them, to achieve your dream lifestyle. You just haven’t gotten there yet.

If you are tired of pulling life with lots of strain and effort and would rather be pushed a lot with ease then contemplate on what really makes you come alive, what really brings you joy. Pursue it with all your heart trusting that everything will work out for you. Ask for guidance from your higher self, and act on the inspiration that you receive. So many people know what they want in life, they know what makes them happy but they are afraid to follow that dream. Worried about failure, worried about success, worried about bills, worried about family, friends, spouse. stop worrying and start living the life you were meant to live. Don’t leave the planet with regrets, should haves, and untapped talent. We only live once so we need to make the very best out of these years that we can.

Once you get to that point you’ll be able to hold onto so much motivation that it’ll be sloshing over the top as you race forward – and you’ll have become a motivational resource for those around you as well. Just think of all you’ll accomplish when you no longer run out of motivation!
