The Number One Reason Blogs Fail

Almost everyone can now not only have their own blogs with no money but can start making money online… using blogs. And the fact that search engines love blogs so much, most bloggers don’t have any problem with getting indexed by the search engines and getting completely free search engine traffic.

And so I grrrrrrrrrr to myself, tear out my hair, and continue to blog. Yes I duplicate stuff that is on my business site and articles I submit for submission and online blogs I ad links to my own writing especially when it is published professionally.

Think about this. Virtually anywhere you go, you most likely are going to take your baby. This also means virtually anywhere you go, you are also going to be taking your baby stroller! Think about the amount of times you are going to get in and out of your car. Then include in your thinking, the amount of times you are going to pitch that stroller in and out of your car. In addition, think about the amount of times you have to take your baby out of your car and put your baby back in your car.

There are two possible solutions here. 1) all bloggers stop allowing comments without approving them. This is unlikely to happen. 2) Search engines find a way to devalue all comment links in any blog whatsoever. This will be unfair to legitimate commenter, but as often happens, the many suffer for the ill-conceived actions of a few.

Just putting your blog online is not enough. After all, there are many millions of visit my page on the web right now, so unless your blog is on a high-traffic site, you may not get readers unless you advertise. You can easily advertise your blog without spending a cent by mentioning your blog in your emails and web pages or newsletters. You can also enter in online competitions – if your blog wins a prize you are more likely to get a constant flow of traffic to your blog. You can also ask ezines and other content providers to review your blog, which will also draw readers.

Search engines tend to like blogs and give them a good rating, making it easier for people to find. For this reason, blogs have become the form, which are currently the names of the biggest names on the Internet. Companies are still moving to blog, or add your own templates for existing sites.

Start one! You can (and will want to) build a strategy and a plan later, but if you see value for you, jump in! Go to http://blogger.com (what I use) and get started in less than five minutes for free.
